Bank of America Pays for Museum Entry
I usually delete any emails that have "Bank of America" in the subject as they're usually just scammers phishing for my details (and I don't have a Bank of America account anyway!). But I opened one today (as it seemed legitimate) and found an interesting story.

Bank of America will be paying for your entry into 86 different museums throughout America during the month of May. The only catch is that you have to have a Bank of America credit or check card or MBNA credit card. According to the bank, there are potentially 74 million customers eligible to take advantage of this offer.

Art News Blog Comments:
First of all thanks for stopping by at "my place" ;)

I live in NY and I really wish I was with that bank now...sigh...I gotta see if I find a friend who has that card;)

Have a great one!!!

Maria

Listen, but this is just GREAT!! Unfortunately I dont have the card nor I am american. But I have seen this in my country (Latvia, Eastern Europe). All the museums were for free to enter, but the CATCH was to participate in parliament elections...

I hope this is a test-run and more banks/corporations will follow BoA's lead!

If I remember rightly, this is Bank of America's tenth year of doing this Sam. This year they increased the number of museums on the list though.

I would join the bank just for this reason if I lived in New York or California! The list even includes three zoos in NY!

Dion

I want more details; so I want the email address they have advertised...something like: bankOfAmerica.com/arts but that is not it.
the current event is NOW: THIS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY
