Quotes about Art
The Internet isn't working very well for me today, so I didn't bother looking for any news of interest. I found some good quotes instead.

Here's..well it's more of an excerpt really, of an interview with Maurizio Cattelan who sent someone on his behalf to answer the questions:
"BBC Four: Cattelan's work often seems to operate on the level of a joke - the sculpture of a granny in a fridge or the squirrel which committed suicide. How seriously should we take him?

There are boundaries Mr Hirst, but you don't care for them. But oneday the boundaries will care for you. In the meantime you'll make a lot money.

Im surprised art museums havent used Disney sized mascots of artists to attract kids.. or at least distract the kids while their parents look at the art on the walls.

A great selection of artists quotes can be found at http://quote.robertgenn.com and one I like is from Georges Braque is "With age, art and life become one"..because I'm a senior citizen who loves art.
