Search Art Keywords
I never know what to expect when I browse through the keywords that people use to find Art News Blog. They range from the funny, to the disgusting, to just stupid.
Here's some earlier search terms from 2006, 2007 and some stupid Banksy searches. ¶ 2:11 AM
- Tit hanging - To be hung by your tits? Sounds painful.
- Do art galleries make money - Probably not at the moment.
- Designer vagina - That rhymes.
- Spam Funny - It can be.
- Shit art - That's a matter of opinion.
- Propaganda advertising - It is.
- Jussst Porn - Wrong blog.
- Bare bums - Cold bare bums in this case.
- Sexy free - Many good things are free.
- Sleep artists - Masters of sleeping?
- Penis artists - I think there's just one of them.
- Strange artists - Aren't we all?
- Rich artists - They're a rare breed but they do exist.
- Art collegia delenda est - That's your term Donald.

May it be the battle cry of a new generation. And the death knell of the previous ones. Art is important, how about we start building on those who came before us, and make some new stuff, shall we?

And lets keep the genital body casting stuff to some kind of reasonable proportions. Body casting tends to have a hideous quality to it, I find, even normal body casting. This points out the difference between casting and real sculpture. (And let's keep the pig skin WAY separate from this, okay?)

It sounds like you're pretty focused on some topic that starts with an S and has and X at the end and an E in the middle (know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge?) Maybe it's time for some serious sublimation in the form of amazing painting?

And I don't mention sex very much, but it keeps coming up in the search results. I just posted the mild sex terms as there's quite a few offensive ones too. From old sex to teen sex and everything inbetween.

roflol! I knew it, my tits did it ;) I got a lot of hits because of the tellie tale tit post, but they were not looking for boobie tits but blue tits hanging on bird feeders. I least that is my story and I am sticking to it.

The great thing about art is that all the unacceptable things are acceptable when well done.
I was glancing at Marketing for Dummies the other day. There was a discussion of what grabs attention in ads. The finding was that sex does very well (no surprise) but that the attention it grabs doesn't translate well into sales (except in the case where the product in question is sex-related).
