• Caroline Magerl Interview - Painter and Illustrator - Recently I asked the Australian painter and illustrator Caroline Magerl a few questions about her art. She's an artist that seems to benefit from the two arts (illustrating and painting), rather than one distracting or detracting from the other.
• Wacom Artist Profile of Leith O'Malley - Fellow Australian artist Leith O'Malley has been profiled on the Asian Wacom community website this month. Leith does a good job of blurring the line between paint and pixels.
• Caroline Magerl Artist Profile - A new artist profile has been added over at artquotes.net. The Australian painter and illustrator Caroline Magerl paints quirky, expressive works that seem to capture emotion more than the person being painted.

• Michael Leunig Interview - The quirky Australian cartoonist Michael Leunig was recently interviewed on Andrew Denton's Enough Rope program.
• Anti-Abortion Cartoon Auction - This cartoon (to the left) has been posted on quite a few blogs recently, and has now been put up for auction on E-Bay. The highest bidder is currently $1,725 USD and it still has about two and half days left.

• Muslim Cartoon Controversy - The outrage over the publication of cartoons originally posted in the Danish Jyllands-Posten newspaper has escalated into violence and destruction. Embassies in Beirut and Damascus have been torched by protestors.
