  • Buying and Selling Art Online - ArtInfo has profiled five "Award-Worthy Web Galleries" that allow you to buy and sell work online. It's a very mixed bunch, aiming at very different buyers/sellers, but they all seem worthy enough to mention.
  • Jackson Pollock at the Guggenheim - ..Irv also mentioned the Jackson Pollock exhibition of works on paper at the Guggenheim in New York.
  • Jackson Pollock Fun - I found an interesting distraction over at the cartoon site, Gaping Void. It's called JacksonPollock.org and lets you create your own Pollock-ish works online.
  • Why Do You Do What You Do? - I came across an interesting site that asks people why they do what they do? It's called Why Do You Do What You Do? or just WDYDWYD?.
  • Saatchi Gallery Online - The Saatchi Gallery website has recently started an online gallery that is open to all artists. It is free to add your portfolio and allows you to display up to 8 works, your biographical details, your website address, and exhibition announcements.
  • Download Google Earth - The past few days I have been completely addicted to Google Earth. It's free to download and is probably the most interesting thing I've ever done online!
  • Caroline Magerl Artist Profile - A new artist profile has been added over at artquotes.net. The Australian painter and illustrator Caroline Magerl paints quirky, expressive works that seem to capture emotion more than the person being painted.
  • Contemporary Artists Online - Here's a selection of some super-fantastic contemporary artists online. I browse the Internet quite a bit, and am always bookmarking sites in my favorites, so I thought I might share a few.
  • Ren and Stimpy Cartoonist - The cartoonist John Kricfalusi has started a blog recently. He's the cartoonist of Ren & Stimpy fame. It's still early days for his site, but it's already worth taking a look at.

  • Australian Art Forum - Fellow Australian artist and painter Lauren Perkins has started a new forum for artists over at Australian Art Forum.
  • Alberto Sughi Artist Interview - The Italian painter Alberto Sughi has a new interview published on his website. It was first published in a publication on the artist by the Italian bank, Cassa di Risparmio di Cesena.
  • Ripping off Artists Online - ArtQuest, an online gallery for artists is warning its members of an increase in scammers trying to rip artists off. Over the past few weeks they have had more than 15 members contact them in regards to scammers.
  • Turkish Artist Profile - A new artist profile is up for the month at artquotes.net. Turkish artist Gizem Saka is an emerging painter currently working in New York.
  • Alberto Sughi Interview at ArtQuotes.net - ArtQuotes.net has a new artist profile up for October. Alberto Sughi is an established Italian painter depecting the life around him.
