Weather Systems by Chris Langlois opens at the Olsen Irwin gallery in Sydney on the 20th of this month. I like his large realist works of the sea and clouds, they’re minimalist and make you ponder, just as the sea itself does. But I like his smaller, much looser landscape sketches much more. They’re so much more free and alive. I know which works would have been more fun to paint!
Here’s a couple of his larger, more realist paintings..
And here’s some of his smaller landscape paintings..
The ‘Weather Systems’ exhibition runs from the 20th of August through to the 7th of September at the Olsen Irwin gallery in Sydney, Australia. The opening is on Saturday the 23rd between 2 and 4 pm. See more details on the gallery website here.
