Edvard Munch in Melbourne – Australia

The famous Scream painting won’t be coming to Melbourne, but a hand-colored lithograph of the Scream will be on display. The Frieze of Life will show more than 80 Munch works that include paintings, watercolors, drawings and prints. It’ll show that the famous Norwegian artist is more than just his one iconic Scream painting.

“The NationalGallery of Victoria presents Edvard Munch – The Frieze of Life, through January 12, 2005. This, the first comprehensive exhibition of Edvard Munch’s art in Australia, assembles more than 80 works from across the artist’s entire oeuvre”
