Abandoned government projects, hidden cities, forgotten science, and empty buildings that were a part of a technological push forward. I have been browsing the web for quadcopters and the aerial photography that can be taken with them and came across the story of Trey Ratcliff in Beijing. He was using his ‘New DJI Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3d 3-axis Gimbal and Gopro Hero 3+ Black Edition‘ quadcopter to photograph the Forbidden City in China and was detained by Chinese authorities. Surfing Photography of Will Adler

As much as I love beaches and the ocean, I rarely ever go out into the water. I’m afraid of sharks, stinging jellyfish, fish with spikes in the sand, and rip currents! Everything is trying to kill you at the beach. My friend is a surfer and talks about sitting out there on his board while sharks calmly swim past. I’ll stick to the sand until I grow gills and sharp teeth ;-) Anyway, I’m getting sidetracked.
